Table Tennis Training in Greece

This report outlines the results of a table tennis training program that was conducted at the premises of the Athletic Club “PERA” in Athens, Greece.  The program was designed for 10 trainees with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from the Special Education Centre “Horizons”.

The program included 48 training sessions that lasted approximately one hour each, and it was conducted by two experienced coaches of table tennis from the club.

The report presents the program's effectiveness in improving the trainees' performance on the final assessment compared to the initial assessment, observations on the social skills and behaviors of the trainees with ASD, and the feedback from the trainees on the training program and the SPAUT VR app of table tennis.
