Table Tennis Training in Cyprus
The Table Training Program was organized within the Erasmus+ project SPAUT, with the aim of providing table tennis training to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the premises of Onisilos Lakatamias Athletic Club in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The program was conducted over 46 training sessions, under the guidance of two coaches of table tennis. 10 individuals with ASD from the Association for People with Autism of Cyprus attended the training program.
The main objectives of the program were to improve the participants’ basic table tennis skills, as well as their social skills and behaviors, and to assess their performance through a final assessment compared to the initial assessment.
