Final conference - 21.12.2022, Athlitikos Sillogos Pera, Greece
The event took place in the events’ hall of Athlitikos Sillogos Pera Club with the presence of 69 people including the Mayor of Palaio Faliro, President of the Municipal Council of Alimos and representative of the Mayor and other members of the City Council, the Coordinator of the Government’s Secretariat for Disabled People, the coordinator of the program Ms Skaloumbakaw (Habilis), two members of the Board of Directors of "HORIZONTES" with which we cooperated in the program, the Vice President of the Byzantine Sports Center etc. The event started with the welcome of the Vice-President, followed by the speech of the President, Mr. Vicky Christoforidou, and continued with the speech of Mr. Skaloumbakas. In the meanwhile, the participants watched an audiovisual presentation. Other speakers, Christaleni Papadopoulou, CCC (video), Mayor of P. Faliro, President of the Municipal Council of Alimos and representative of HORIZONDES. The benefits of table tennis for people with autism were analyzed as well as the beneficial assistance of VR glasses. The certification diplomas were awarded to the coaches. Then with great joy and pride the athletes/children demonstrated what exactly they have learned from the program.
